Hi, I’m Casey. I’m a communicator, campaigner, and activist for progressive causes based in New York. I’m currently Deputy Communications Director for Housing and Planning in the City Hall communications office. I’ve previously served as Senior Press Secretary at the Department of City Planning and the Director of External Affairs for the 2025 NYC Charter Revision Commission. Before that, I worked on the digital team for Governor Kathy Hochul‘s campaign, at progressive think tank The Century Foundation, for local political campaigns in New York and California, and at political communications firms.

Outside of my professional work, I previously served on the board of Open New York, helped start a tenants union in Brooklyn, and worked to legalize accessory dwelling units across New York State.

When I’m not doing any of those things, you can find me rock climbing, rooting for LA sports teams, or trying a new restaurant. I’m a proud product of Los Angeles public schools and the University of California. (Go bears!)
